Weis Markets announced it has begun selling more than 160 varieties of wine at its Kutztown store located at 15260 Kutztown Road starting Thursday, Nov. 10.

Weis Markets will offer wine at its in-store, 30-seat cafe, with the goal of extending more variety and convenience to its customers. The cafe will feature an array of imported and domestic wines and will also include a chilled section. In addition to wine, shoppers can choose from more than 600 beer varieties also available in the cafe, including an extensive selection of domestic and local craft brews.

The cafe is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to midnight and on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Wine sales are open until 11 p.m.

This is the first Weis Markets beer cafe to carry wine in Berks County. The company plans to begin selling wine in 49 of its Pennsylvania stores with beer cafes by the end of the year.
