The Dachshund Fanciers Association of Berks County will hold its 35th independent specialty show Sunday, Nov. 20. This event will be held at the Berks County 4H Community Center, 1206 County Welfare Road, Leesport, PA 19533.

About 75 dachshunds are expected to vie for ribbons, trophies and AKC points towards their AKC Championship and the ultimate Best In Show.

Spectators will be admitted at no charge and they will have a lot to see for dachshunds come in two sizes; miniature and standard. They also come in three coats; longhair, wirehair and smooth. No charge for parking either. Starting time is 9 a.m., it will continue on until Best of Breed is judged around 3 p.m. There will be a nice homemade lunch and desserts available at a minimal cost. The “Dachshund Boutique” will be open, that’s where “everything dachshund can be found.”
