At meeting number 3,147 of the Strausstown Lions Club, the club greeted Lions District 14-P District Governor Gus Meyer III. He lauded the club for its many good works and Lions for their years of service. Joseph Antanavage, 33 years; Robert Behm, 36 years; Richard Freed, 43 years; Russell Hartman, Jr., 34 years; Charles Kline, 45 years; Gerald Lesher, 41 years; John Post, 44 years; Jonathan Schaeffer, 33 years; Leroy Shollenberger, 35 years; Harvey Stambaugh, 60 years; and Warren Trautman, Jr., 40 years.
