Lions District 14-P Governor Gus Meyer III visited the small Fystown Lions Club tucked into western part of Berks County recently. While on his official visit he recognized two long-time Lions as Legacy Lions.

Honorees included Robert Edris, a member for 36 years who was unable to attend, and Robert Snyder, who was recognized for 48 years service. Both Lions have been heavily involved in the Frystown Park, now officially under the ownership of Bethel Township and overseen by the township’s Recreation Board.

Lion Edris is the club’s treasurer and Snyder serves as Membership Chair.
