Dahlia Moyer, 17, a senior from Morgantown, was among the 20 high school students from Commonwealth Charter Academy, a statewide public cyber charter school, who were inducted into the National Honor Society Nov. 18 for demonstrating excellence in scholarship, leadership, service and character. Students need a minimum 3.6 GPA to be accepted into the society.

“Our students have shown that they can achieve high success with an educational program that is personalized for their goals and needs,” said CEO Maurice “Reese” Flurie. “I am proud of our students and congratulate them for their recognition by the National Honor Society.”

NHS membership not only recognizes students for their accomplishments, but challenges them to develop further through active involvement in school activities and community service.
