Also at the check presentation were Commanding Officer Shannon Helzer of the DBHS Junior ROTC and Amity Elementary Center counselor Celine Crouse, who coordinated the Red Ribbon Week donation drive. 
Daniel Boone Elementary Schools made another large annual donation to the families of Berks County veterans. DBSD families generously donated their spare change during Red Ribbon Week with the total donation reaching $2,357.
