The Daniel Boone High School had 13 of its chapter members attend the Berks County Regional Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) competition at Albright on December 20. The students represented the district well as six students ran for the three regional office positions with two students elected to regional offices; Luis Barrales is now the Regional President and the Regional Secretary is Demi Kishbaugh.

The competition results are as follows, Christine Kelly -Agribusiness 1st Place, Trisha Bhatt-Word Processing 1st Place, Madison Okkerse-Public Speaking II 2nd Place, Luis Barrales, Jr- Impromptu Speaking 3rd Place, Jacob Riley-Job Interview 3rd Place, Breana McNamara-Public Speaking I 3rd Place, Emily Konchan- Business Calculations 4th Place, Demi Kishbaugh-Marketing 4th Place, Griffin Adams-Marketing 4th Place, Cole Reinert-Marketing 4th Place.

The following attended or competed: Deakon Clark-Economics, Alex Bortz-Intro to Financial Math, & Ryan Duffy.

The two first place winners and our new Regional Officers now qualify to attend the State competition in Hershey to be held in April.
