Kirsten Lynn Dickerscheid, 27, and Zachary Scott Himmelberger, 24, both of 35 N. 4th Street, Shartlesville, were arrested for methamphetamine trafficking.

The Berks County District Attorney’s Office reports that Dickerscheid has been charged with Possession with the Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine and Oxycodone, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Criminal Conspiracy. Himmelberger has been charged with Possession with the Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine and Oxycodone, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Criminal Conspiracy, Prohibited Offense Weapons, and Persons Not To Possess Firearms.

The Berks County District Attorney’s Office reports that in early January of 2017, the Berks County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force Detectives initiated a drug investigation regarding the distribution of methamphetamine coming from the residence of the defendant, Kirsten Lynn Dickerscheid at 35 N. 4th Street, Shartlesville.

During the investigation, detectives confirmed that Kirsten Lynn Dickerchield and others were selling methamphetamine from inside her residence.

On Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017, based on information received and investigation conducted, the Berks County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force Detectives obtained a search warrant for Kirsten Lynn Dickerscheid and her residence at 35 N. 4th Street, Shartlesville, PA. The warrant was issued by Magisterial District Judge Bentz.

On Friday, February 10, 2017 at 7:10 AM, the Berks County Drug Task Force Detectives including: Spring Township Police Department, Exeter Township Police Department and the Pennsylvania State Police served the search warrant. The defendants, Kirsten Lynn Dickerscheid and Zachary Scott Himmelberger were present inside of the residence.

A search was conducted and detectives seized a bulk amount of methamphetamine with a street value of $27,000, 21 oxycodone pills with a street value of $650, assorted drug paraphernalia associated with the packaging and distribution of controlled substances, one .357 cal. semi-automatic handgun, two stun guns, and $3,050 in U.S. Currency which was believed to be proceeds from the distribution of the controlled substances.

Subsequently, the defendants, Kirsten Lynn Dickerscheid and Zachary Scott Himmelberger were charged with the above listed violations of the PA Controlled Substance Act and the PA Crimes Code. They were transported to the Berks County Sheriff’s Department Central Processing Center for processing and video arraignment. A bail amount was not set at the time of this press release.
