The 28th annual Valentine Dance, sponsored by the Boyertown Service Unit of Girl Scouts of Eastern PA was held on Friday, Feb. 10 at New Hanover Methodist Church in Montgomery County. Girl Scouts and their father/significant male mentors danced, made bookmarks for local retirement communities and contributed canned goods for the Boyertown Salvation Army. More than 250 people attended the event.

“This is so much fun!” said Abbey Davenport, a Brownie Girl Scout attending the dance with her dad. The girls were excited about getting dressed up and spending time with their special dates.

Everyone danced to the music provided by DJ Jeff Gorge and posed for pictures taken by Steve Pestrock Photography.

All the planning, set up, supervision and clean up was provided by the troop leaders and older Girl Scouts.
