The Fleetwood Area High School art department will be hosting the annual Art Event on Feb. 25, from noon to 4 p.m.
This event allows for the community to celebrate the arts by visiting creation stations, watching performances, and buying local art. Art students at Fleetwood High School have been working hard to put the Art Event together.
All stations are created by the students to provide a fun, creative experience for all in attendance. Examples of stations include using the pottery wheel, making spin art, decorating cookies, getting henna tattoos, and lots more.
Throughout the day there will be musical performances by Fleetwood students, community members, and alumni.
On top of the art, there will also be a used book table, Rita’s Italian Ice, and other food for purchase.
All proceeds from the day benefit Artifact, Fleetwood’s fine art and literary magazine.
