Feb. 23Redistricting – The Real Voter Fraud: was postponed due to weather conditions. The program has been rescheduled for Feb. 23, at 6:30 p.m. at Kutztown University, Academic Forum Building, Room 201.

Mysteries of Mars : Explore the mysteries of the Red Planet with the latest data from spacecraft, and learn about the human experience as we set a timetable as to when people may realistically first walk on this world. Mysteries of Mars will be presented at the Boyertown Planetarium on Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. Admission to the planetarium is $4 for adults and $2.50 for students and children. Feb. 24DANCE: New Goschenhoppen UCC will hold a dance featuring a variety of music Friday Feb. 24 from 7 to 10:30 p.m. Food will be available. Admission is $10. For information, contact Bev at 215-679-4309 or Christos at 215-620-3567.

Feb. 25Spaghetti Dinner: Bally Community Preschool will be serving a dinner including spaghetti with sauce, assorted meat toppings, salad, garlic bread, and assorted homemade desserts, at Bally Mennonite Church in the church fellowship hall on Saturday, Feb. 25 from 4:30-7 p.m. The cost is a donation. Take out is available. Everyone is welcome. Proceeds will provide funds for the Bally Community Preschool. Feb. 26Art Social: Studio B welcomes any and all artists from 1-4 p.m. to the second monthly Art Social, organized by Pottstown Area Artists Guild (PAAG). “A number of artists gather to work on our art, chat and compare notes,” Don Havas, secretary of PAAG, explains. Havas asks that anyone planning on attending let him know at least a week in advance by calling 610-850-2769. The Art Socials are scheduled on alternating Saturdays and Sundays throughout 2017: February 26, March 25, April 23, May 20, etc.

March 2The Boyertown Lions Club: will hold their dinner meeting Thursday at the Gilbertsville Fire Company, 1454 E. Philadelphia Ave., Gilbertsville at 6:30 PM. This will be the monthly board meeting. All members are welcome.

Feb. 27Musical Entertainment: Glenn Faul, Vocalist from 1-2 p.m. Entertainment programs are free of charge. Anyone 55 years of age or older is invited to attend. Those wishing to also join us for lunch on that day should call the Center at 610-367-2313 at least two days in advance to make a meal reservation and plan to be present at 11:30 a.m. for the meal. The suggested meal donation is $2.50.

Feb. 28Educational Program: Smartphone and Tablet “Introduction” 1-2 p.m. OPEN TO ADULTS AGE 55 YEARS AND OLDER. Joanne Hyndman, Software Engineer and teacher for Silver Smartphone Coaching will offer a 1 hour presentation on the basics of texting, contacts, setting options to make text larger and display larger, and using voice activated features for users of Android Smartphones and Tablets including Samsung, LG, Sony, Haier, Nexus, Pantech and other brands. Also, touch screen track phones. NOT for iPhone or iPad. Hyndman will provide handouts, offer time for Q & A and one-on-one training. Reservations must be made in advance at The Center at Spring Street and payment must be made at the time of reservation. The deadline to register is Feb. 24
