Kutztown High School Student Council hosted its annual Mini-Thon recently, raising $9,900.07 to battle pediatric cancer.
The Kutztown High School mini-THON was run by about 30 students from student council. The event was held for 10 hours during the day. A carnival was held during the day time, which was open to the community. At night, high school students came for a dance.
“We hope that the students gained organizational and leadership skills necessary to plan a large fundraiser and help address community needs for pediatric cancer,” said Mrs. Kristen Fricke, Learning Support Teacher & Language Arts teacher.
