Fleetwood Police responded to a three-vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of Fleetwood-Lyons Road and School Road in Richmond Township on March 9.
Fleetwood Police report that at about 7:56 a.m. on March 6, Sandra Hilbert, 70, Mertztown, was driving westbound on Fleetwood-Lyons Road when she failed to notice that traffic had stopped just west of School Road, causing her vehicle to strike the rear of a vehicle which then pushed that vehicle into the rear of another vehicle.
The other two vehicles were driven by Beverly Schroeder, 47, Lenhartsville, and Deborah Auman, 53, Fleetwood. Auman was transported by Fleetwood EMS to St. Joseph Medical Center to be evaluated for minor injuries.
Fleetwood EMS, Fleetwood Fire Company and Walunttown Fire Company and Fire Police assisted at the scene.
The roadway was reduced to one lane for about one hour.
