A disabled tractor trailer truck closed the roadway in the area of East Main Street and Buttonwood Street in Fleetwood for two and a half hours on March 9.
Fleetwood Borough Police report that a tractor trailer truck’s load shifted, causing the trailer to lean. The truck was hauling lead enroute to East Penn Manufacturing when the lead bars became dislodged from its securement inside the enclosed trailer and slid to the right side of the trailer, disabling the truck.
V & M Towing responded to the scene to move and re-secure the load, during which time the roadway was closed for about two and a half hours.
Fire police assisted with the closure and traffic control.
