The Wagner-Good VFW Post 216 is pleased to announce that thanks to our many members and all those who attend the many events we conduct we were able to provide financial grants and support to the following organizations: Berks Historical Society, VFW National Home for Children, Our Town Foundation, Hamburg Fish and Game, Hamburg Police Department, HAHS Scholarships, Hamburg’s Memorial Day Parade and Services, Hamburg Area Music Association, Local Boy Scout and Girl Scout Troops, Union Fire Company, Hawks Baseball Program, St. John’s Cemetery Association, Hamburg Jaycee’s, King Frost Parade and Float Sponsorship, Borough Trick or Treat Night, Berks County Veteran’s Hall of Fame, Hamburg Emergency Services, PA. Wounded Warriors, Veteran’s Making A Difference, Keystone Soldiers Food Bank, Gift cards for Local Veterans, Christmas Party for Veterans. The total amount that was donated in 2016 was $24,964.85.
