State Police Reading report that Pamela Pluguez, 22, Pottstown, was stopped in traffic traveling east on Bernville Road when Ian Kennedy, 34, Shillington, was traveling behind her vehicle too fast to stop in time. His 2012 Cadillac CTS4 struck her 2015 Chrysler Town & Country.
As a result, the Town & Country struck a 2006 Chevy Colorado driven by Tessa Hertz, 19, Schuylkill Haven.
As a result of a 2015 Chevy Equinox travelling too fast for traffic conditions the Equinox struck the Cadillac, travelled off the south side of the roadway and rolled over onto its passenger side.
The driver of the Equinox, Liliana Gaviria, 42, Reading, and her passenger sustained minor injuries.
Drivers of the Cadillac and Equinox, Kennedy and Gaviria, were cited for not driving at a safe speed. Their vehicles were towed.
