Fleetwood Middle and High School are proud to send 18 students to the Berks Jr. High County Band festival, held on April 1 at Kutztown High School.
These students were selected to perform after having successfully auditioned for a seat in the band in February. They will rehearse throughout the school day on Friday, March 31 before putting on a concert with students in the Berks County Jr. High Chorus and Orchestra at Kutztown High School. Their guest conductor will be Mrs. Lori Schwartz Reichl from Thomas Viaduct Middle School in Hanover, Maryland.
Fleetwood students are trumpeter Jia Gore, clarinetist Tiffany Cornman, trumpeter Casey Lynn Dewald, trumpeter Blake Biehl, tenor saxophonist Tyler Walbert, French hornist James Duca, flutists Avery Millisock and Hannah Saylor, clarinetist Megan Zimmerman, bass clarinetist Jamin Valick, trumpeter Ian Snyder, french hornist Zachary Haas, Samuel Ruemmler on baritone horn, trumpeter Ayrton Laucks, oboist Rachel Grayek, trumpeters Connor Ammon and Ann Costello, and trombonist Jesse Fullington.
