David W. Crossett recently joined the historic law firm of Antanavage Farbiarz, PLLC.

Founded by R. Solomon Bear in 1946, the firm was later joined by the Honorable A. Joseph Antanavage (retired) and Daryl F. Moyer. The current partners are Russell E. Farbiarz and Alexa S. Antanavage. For more than 70 years the firm has served the region from its Hamburg office.

Crossett augments the firm’s practice areas as he concentrates his practice on civil litigation-including disputes involving business, motor vehicle accidents, real estate, landlord/tenant, insurance claims, product liability, and wrongful death. His litigation practice includes both state and federal courts. He is a member of the Blackstone Legal Fellowship and an active Allied Attorney with Alliance Defending Freedom.

With a somewhat unusual background for the courtroom, Crossett received a B.A. in theology from Chicago’s Moody Bible Institute before studying at Virginia’s Regent University School of Law and serving on its Law Review. Prior to entering the legal profession, Crossett served as a counselor at a residential drug treatment center and then as a high-school teacher in an inner-city Chicago school. He will tell you that effective civil litigation is a unique blend of legal interpretation, counseling, and teaching.

Outside the office and courtroom, Crossett can be found spending time with his wife, Cheryl, and their three young children. He serves as Chairman of the Elder Board at Fleetwood Bible Church and also on the Board of Directors of Life’s Choices. As an aspiring competitive road cyclist, sunny weekend afternoons over naptime are reserved for riding.
