After months of preparation and a round of auditions, fifteen Fleetwood students in grades 7 through 9 qualified to participate in this year’s MEBC Jr. County Orchestra Festival. These students will be representing Fleetwood during the weekend of April 1 at Kutztown Area High School under the direction of Dr. Tim Dixon from Messiah College. This festival gives students in both orchestra and band a chance to perform together in a full orchestra setting. The students representing Fleetwood in the orchestra represent both strings and brass instruments.
Rachel Grayek on viola), Kenneth Au on viola, Owen Magers on viola, Hannah Saylor on violin, Jamin Valick on violin, Ian Snyder on trumpet, Allison Brattley on cello, Jaiden Valick on violin, Dylan Yellets on viola, Avery Millisock on viola, Emma Bigg on cello, Kamille Orth on violin, Zachary Haas on horn, Andrew Menet on viola and Jesse Fullington on bass will be representing Fleetwood.
