Lucy, a Toy Fox Terrier and The Corner Shoppe’s goodwill ambassador and greeter is turning 14 this month. Her birthday celebration runs from Friday, April 7 through Sunday, April 9. In honor of her birthday, customers who bring in a donation* for the Perkiomenville SPCA will receive a “Lucy Loot” discount coupon good on a future purchase. The Corner Shoppe will match customer’s monetary donations up to $200.00.
All customers making a purchase during Lucy’s birthday will be able to choose a dog biscuit for a secret discount on their purchase as well as receive “Lucy Loot”. (Limit one Lucy Loot per person.) Corner Shoppe guests can also enjoy refreshments while shopping and can enter a drawing for Corner Shoppe merchandise and gift certificates.
The Corner Shoppe is celebrating its 25th year in business this year and is located in a restored Colonial Revival home at the intersections of Philadelphia Ave, Swamp Pike, Gilbertsville Road and Route 73/Big Road, across from the Gilbertsville Post Office. The shop carries pet merchandise, locally made crafts, candles, home decor, jewelry, vintage items and much more. Hours are: Tues.-Fri. 10-6, Sat. 10-5 and Sun. 12-5.
