Fleetwood School Board appointed Dr. Greg M. Miller as the new Superintendent of Schools, effective July 1, 2017. The FASD Board of Directors made the appointment official at the Tuesday, March 21, Board meeting. Miller succeeds Dr. Paul Eaken, who is retiring.

“We are pleased to have secured Dr. Greg Miller as our new Superintendent of Schools,” Fleetwood School Board President Tim Heffner said. “Dr. Miller is an exemplary educational leader who serves as an advocate for students. He is a proven leader and is well respected in the field of education. The FASD Board of Directors has full confidence that Dr. Miller will successfully lead the school district in order to meet the needs of our students and staff, and to serve our community.”

Miller is currently serving as Chief Student Achievement Officer for the Boyertown Area School District which has a total student population of more than 6,900 plus total staff members of 987. He is a student centered leader who has worked throughout his career to ensure that the needs of all students are being met. As a principal, Miller worked with staff members to implement instructional and behavioral supports to ensure student success. As a central office administrator Miller worked to implement technology in all classrooms, and the restructuring of the junior high schools to a middle school program.
