We are hopeful that we will have a great turnout for our 1st annual Mountain Springs Country Fair pageant this year in Shartlesville.
The Mountain Springs Country Fair pageant provides an opportunity for area students to showcase their poise and talents, develop their skills as speakers and essay writers. We would like to invite young women ages 16 years old to no older than 20 years as of June 1 to register and participate in this rewarding event. Scholarship award is given to the Mountain Springs Country Fair winner, and also required to attend the PA State Fair Competition in Hershey, PA. We are also opening up the pageant to girl’s ages 6-15 if interested.
The first part of the pageant will be held at the HAAG’S Hotel in Shartlesville on June 4th @ 2PM. The crowing of the new fair queen will take place on Opening Night of the fair June 15, 2017. Please visit the fair website for rules, guidelines and entry form.
To become a fair queen is an exciting experience for these young women to build confidence and encourage the promotion of agriculture fairs and create a better relations between youth and adults in both rural and urban settings.
The Mountain Springs Country Fair is a nonprofit organization providing family fun entertainment to our local community and surrounding counties. The fair will be held on June 15, 16, 17, 2017 at the Mountain Springs Arena in Shartlesville, PA.
