Twenty students and four sponsors from Lighthouse Christian Academy in Lyons attended the 2017 Mid-Atlantic Student Convention on April 3 to 7.
There were more than 500 students in attendance from more than 20 schools in five states. Students attending this convention have the opportunity to compete in a variety of events including: academics, arts, photography, needle/thread, athletics, music, and platform.
Our students performed well, earning a total of 42 individual medals. In addition, Lighthouse was awarded a plaque for placing first in overall academic achievement, and another plaque for placing second in overall athletic performance. We are honored to be presented with these awards!
