Fleetwood Junior Troop 1793 went to Shady Holllow Assisted Riding Stables in Birdsboro to earn their Junior Horseback Riding Badge. 
Fleetwood Junior Troop 1793 went to Shady Holllow Assisted Riding Stables in Birdsboro to earn their Junior Horseback Riding Badge. The girls learned about how to take proper care of a horse which included learning about what they eat, how much and when. They learned about grooming horses and had the opportunity to help groom some of the horses at the farm. They toured the barn and the stables and learned about where the horses live and how to take care of the stalls. Finally, they all had the opportunity to ride a few of the horses. The Girl Scouts enjoyed learning about the horses and spending so much time with them.
