An auction of natural stone products hosted by Rolling Rock Building Stone will benefit the Oley Valley Community Education Foundation. Rolling Rock officials Gary and Eric Weller stated that the OVCEF will receive a substantial percentage of the net profits from the auction, which will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 20.

The auction will take place on the premises of Rolling Rock Building Stone, 40 Rolling Rock Road, Boyertown. George Frey of Frey Auctioneers will donate his time and talents as auctioneer for the event.

Items for sale at the auction will include 200 separate lots of natural stone, millstones, and troughs.

Refreshments – including hamburgers, hot dogs, homemade soups, and homemade pies and cakes – will be available at the auction site. They will be provided and served by the Oley Fire Company, also to benefit the Foundation.

Photographs and additional details about the products offered for sale, along with directions to Rolling Rock, are available at <www.rollrock.com> by clicking on the “Stone Auction” link.

The 2017 stone products auction will be the ninth such event in OVCEF history. The Foundation wishes to thank Gary and Eric Weller of Rolling Rock Building Stone for their invaluable assistance in organizing and staging the products for this fundraising event.

The Oley Valley Community Education Foundation will use funds raised at the auction to continue to fulfill its mission of providing enhanced educational opportunities for students of the Oley Valley School District and members of the Oley Valley community.
