What began as an “okay idea” in a dingy basement has now transformed into an award winning, full service digital marketing agency with more than 40 clients and eight full-time employees.
After two years of extreme dedication and long hours spent at the office, Kutztown native Matthew Strunk has been honored as a recipient of the Lehigh Valley Business “40 Under 40” award. Matt is the Founder and CEO of Strunk Media Group, located in Kutztown. This honor is awarded to young professionals from the Greater Lehigh Valley for their contributions to their company, industry, and community.
Strunk was chosen as a recipient of this award based on his devotion to his company’s growth and professional quality. “This award is validation that my company is heading in the right direction,” Strunk stated. “It proves that hard work, dedication, and perseverance do pay off.”
Strunk has big plans for his company. He hopes this award brings recognition of his brand throughout the region and that within five years, the company will create new jobs and employ as many as 50 employees. This summer, Strunk Media Group will launch its first official intern program, giving three Kutztown University students a hands-on approach to life inside a startup full service digital marketing agency.
Strunk Media Group is a veteran owned, badged Google Partner full service media group that specializes in advanced digital services. SMG works within a variety of industries, including automotive, health care, professional, real estate, education, and service. The business was established in April of 2015, currently has eight full-time employees, and is based in Kutztown.
