POTTSTOWN >> As the final leg of the effort to re-start Fourth of July celebrations in the borough begins, organizers report that plans are coming together, although donations are still needed.

The effort has raised about $20,000 so far and is looking to raise another $20,000 before the events begin, said School Board President Amy Francis, who is also one of the organizers and co-chair of the fundraising committee.

“The Hill School gave us $5,000 to start off and that set us off on a great start,” said Francis.

As in previous years, donations sent in – send checks payable to TCN with “Go Fourth Festival” on the memo line to: TriCounty Community Network, 2151 E. High St., Suite C, Pottstown, PA 19464 – will be published in The Mercury.

Money will also be raised by the sale of hats and shirts to mark the event.

You can purchase them on-line at https://squareup.com/store/Tricounty-community-network or buy them at High Street Music, 135 High St. Hours there are 3 to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 10:20 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays.

Another method to help this effort is to become a corporate sponsor.

The levels are:* Diamond Sponsor (only one is available) – $20,000

* Platinum Sponsor – $10,000* Gold Sponsor – $5,000

* Drone Sponsor – $3,000* Silver Sponsor – $2,500

* Promotional Item Sponsor – $2,000

* Bronze Sponsor – $1,000* Copper Sponsor – $500

* Friends of the Festival – $250

* Neighbors of the Festival – $100.

Each level comes with its own specific set of perks and benefits. Visit – https://tcnetwork.org/event/pottstown-gofourth-festival/ – for more information on those opportunities.
