Leah Wenhold, a May 2017 graduate of Temple University, was the recipient of the university’s Diamond Award. The Diamond Award is the highest recognition given by the Division of Student Affairs to Temple University undergraduate students. This recognition is based on a holistic evaluation of students’ accomplishments. The award is reserved for those who have demonstrated superior leadership, academic achievement, service to the university, and an impact on the community.

Leah graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. degree in geology and will be pursuing a master’s degree in hydrogeology at the University of Tennesee, Knoxville. Leah is the daughter of Randy and Darlene Wenhold of Allentown and the granddaughter of Lee and Helen Shollenberger of Hamburg.
