Mother Nature has been “just plain mean this year” according to some local car show enthusiasts. Just about every weekend has experienced less than favorable to downright miserable weather conditions. All that changed with the rising of the sun for the 12th Annual Fleetwood Rotary Club Show Of Wheels on June 10.

The popular event was held on Saturday, June 10th in the Fleetwood Community Park. The fine weather attracted nearly 300 entries consisting of cars, trucks and motorcycles and over 70 of them took a trophy back home with them.

In addition to the cars, trucks and motorcycles there was also a Chance Auction, DJ sound entertainment and the popular Rubber Duck Race which is unique to that event.
