The Best of Both Worlds Night of Music will be held on Saturday, July 22, at Kutztown Fire Company Banquet Hall Stage. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. DopplerPoppins performs at 8 p.m. and Shallow 9 performs at 10 p.m.

Musician Tucker Landis, a graduate of Kutztown High School, will be playing guitar with both of his bands, DopplerPoppins and Shallow 9. Both rock bands will play on the same night. This chance does not come often in Kutztown as these bands typically perform in clubs that can host shows of this magnitude. The Kutztown Fire Company Stage will be lit up like never before.

“I am excited to come play with my current bands in Kutztown because it is my home,” said Tucker, who is a senior at Penn State University, majoring in the Neuroscience of Music, an interdisciplinary degree in philosophy. He is a guitarist, song writer and plays in two bands, one in State College and one in Altoona. “I grew up in Kutztown and now, having embarked on a music career away from Kutztown, I find myself returning in a different fashion than when I left. I feel blessed that I can get on a stage and show my family and friends what I have been working towards for the past four years. The music industry can be a cold unforgiving place, but this show, on July 22, will bring out its warmer qualities, one specifically: community.”

Sponsored by Landis Productions, the show includes a high-energy performance by two bands accompanied by state-of-the art lighting. DopplerPoppins starts the night at 8 p.m. with original songs written by Tucker Landis and funky covers that will keep you on your feet. Shallow 9 then performs from 10 p.m. until midnight. The powerful female fronted Shallow 9 offers renditions of radio favorites known by all.

All proceeds from the food and drinks will go to the Kutztown Fire Company to help firefighters.

Tickets include 2 free beer or soda vouchers and snacks. Pre-sale discount tickets through 7/21/17 $15 each or $12 each for groups of 4 or more. Tickets day of show and at the door $20. Tickets available on www.TuckerLandis.com.
