AMITY >> Amity Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects believed to have used counterfeit money.

Police said in a Facebook post that they are looking to identify two suspects in an incident that occurred on June 29 at CVS, 1149 West Benjamin Franklin Highway (Route 422).

At approximately 9:16 p.m., an employee at CVS stated that two unknown black male offenders entered the store and made two separate purchases. Both men passed counterfeit $100 bills and received change from the purchases, police said.

Police are asking that anyone with information regarding the identity of these men contact Detective DiMaria at the Amity Township Police Department 610-689-6000 Ext. 235.
