Take a Rock n’ Roll Road Trip with Rick K. & The Allnighters on Thursday, Aug. 24 in the Gring’s Mill amphitheater from 6:00-8:00 p.m. There is a parking donation of $5 per car at the park gate.

Let “America’s Most Exciting Show Band,” Rick K. & The Allnighters, take you on a high speed, cross country, tour of rock’s greatest hits! Meet your tour guide, Rick K., as he leads you through the Fabulous Fifties, gets groovy with the 60s Explosion, then hustles you into the Disco Nights of the 1970s. The road trip hits high gear with a head on collision into the classic top forty, pop rock of the 1980s and 90s. Running on empty? Your tour heads for home with high octane hits of the new millennium.

Then Sunday, Aug. 27, the Ringgold Band is back and will hopefully not get rained out of this concert. The Band finishes out our series with some familiar classics, symphonic overtures, show tunes, solos, and marches at the Berks County Heritage Center starting at 6 p.m, and there is a $5 parking fee per car.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and bring along picnic supper to enjoy each outdoor concert. Any change in date due inclement weather will be announced on our website, www.countyofberks.com/parks; on our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/berkscountyparks, and on WEEU 830 AM.

This series is presented by the Berks County Parks and Recreation Department. For more information, call 610-374-2944 ext. 2611, visit www.countyofberks.com/parks or find us on Facebook under “Berks County Parks and Recreation.”
