On Wednesday, July 12, Beyond the Leaf Tree and Shrub Experts, LLC donated their time and labor in removing a dead cherry tree deemed hazardous by the BBB Tree committee in the Borough of Boyertown.
Earlier in the month, members of the tree committee visited Joan Herbts residence located at Fourth and Franklin Street and offered their help in removing the tree. We were all concerned about the limbs hanging over the sidewalk and the overgrown holly tree encroaching on the path, explained Joan Herbst, owner of property. Joan and her son Gene explained that they had been wanting to take care of the trees for some-time, but with Gene’s recent heart transplant it just wasn’t something either could do health-wise.
Chuck Lowe, BBB tree committee chair and partner of Beyond the Leaf Tree and Shrub Experts, LLC offered their service at no cost to the resident.
“We were very excited to help out with this tree removal,” explained Enzo Paludi, owner of Beyond the Leaf Tree and Shrub Service, LLC. “This is a thank you to all the work the members of the tree committee have been referring to us in and around the Borough.”
Beyond the Leaf Tree and Shrub Experts, LLC are certified arborists specializing in managing tree and shrub disease and maintenance utilizing new and innovative ways which are sensitive to the environment and human health.
This was a great opportunity to collaborate on a project in the community. “Even though it is just one property it adds to many other beautification projects going on in the Borough,” explained Chuck Lowe.
After the crew finished up the work, they also looked at the Norway Maple tree and Ash tree located in Franklin Park and made some recommendation, further spurring more beautification projects in the Borough.
