It’s the envy of fairs everywhere, the ultimate array of foods and drinks that will satisfy the palate and do your heart good. From the Lions’s Club Dutch Fries to the Virginville Grange Apple fritters and the Fire Company’s corn pies buying food from these service organizations supports activities and functions of these groups year round.

Volunteers work many hours during the fair creating great food so that the music students at Kutztown High school can travel and perform, while others use their proceeds to send disadvantaged students to camp or bring financial relief to victims of fire and other disasters.

Come to the Kutztown Fair with a big appetite. Because along with the corn dogs and cotton candy found on the midway, if you visit the permanent stand you can taste one of the steak sandwiches, try a blooming onion, a fried Lebanon bologna sandwich, homemade chicken potpie, hamburger bar-b-que plus so much more. There is a sit down restaurant at the fair, that has daily specials, plus you can visit the Beer Garden and sample the adult beverages and listen to local bands.

A walk around the midway will reveal a variety of snacks and foods such as caramel apples, popcorn, pizza, tacos, Italian ice and more. Visit the candy stand in the exhibit hall or grab a milkshake down by the show ring. As you stroll across the fairgrounds you will find a variety of food and drinks.

This year the 2017 Kutztown Fair is all about Thrills, Squeals and Ferris Wheels. Great family fun at an affordable price. Admission includes all shows, rides, exhibits, music and livestock displays for only $10 per person, everyone 18 months and older. Fair opens Monday August 14 and runs through Saturday August 19.
