The Animal Rescue League of Berks County will be having a free adoption weekend on Saturday, August 19, and Sunday, August 20. Meat and Sea Me at Florens and Buzz…Men’s Grooming Salon will sponsor all adoption fees for dogs and cats. The adoption weekend is in conjunction with the 26th annual International Homeless Animal’s Day on Saturday, Aug. 19.
Liz McCauley, Executive Director of the ARL, stated, “The ARL is thankful for the incredible support from Meat and Sea Me at Floren’s and Buzz…Men’s Grooming Salon. The adoption weekend is a great opportunity for the homeless dogs and cats of the ARL to find the right match in to a loving family.”
Saturday, Aug. 19, is International Homeless Animal’s Day. On this day please show your support for the homeless animals of the world by visiting http://isaronline.org/ihad-candlelight-vigil/ to light a candle in support of finding homes for animals in need. You can also show your support by donating to the homeless animals of Berks County. The Animal Rescue League of Berks County will be collecting donations throughout the adoption weekend for our animals who are in need of a home.
