Gilbertsville man arrested for delinquent child support in early-morning raid

NORRISTOWN >> Four men, who collectively owe over $23,000 in child support for five children, were arrested during an overnight deadbeat parent raid, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department announced Wednesday.

A team of deputies, including a K-9 unit, covered Boyertown, Greenville, Hatfield and Souderton from 12:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. All of the suspects surrendered without incident.

The following is a list of the defendants that were arrested during the sweep, and are awaiting a court hearing:

* Sean Amato, of the 700 block of Morris Road, East Greenville, owes $8,799 for two children.

* Wesley Clayton, of the 100 block Thomas Penn Avenue, Hatfield, owes $6,355 for one child.

* Eric Meeker, of the 2900 block of Dotterer Road, Gilbertsville, owes $2,835 for one child.

* Brian Sipko, of the 300 block of Forge Road, East Greenville, owes $5,459 for one child.
