Samantha Evangelista, Topton, wins USA National Miss Pennsylvania 2018 title

Samantha Evangelista, from Topton, recently won the coveted state title of USA National Miss Pennsylvania 2018.

Samantha bested delegates from throughout Pennsylvania to claim the state crown and an extensive prize package during the state pageant which was held at Split Rock Resort in Lake Harmony in the Poconos.

As a state titleholder, Samantha will be travelling the state of Pennsylvania for appearances, photo shoots, charity events, and media interviews.

As a state titleholder, Samantha will move on to compete at the National Pageant being held in Orlando, Florida in July 2018 where she will have the opportunity to compete for a prize package worth over $300,000 against girls from all over the United States. She will also be featured in ongoing state promotions and feature articles that will be published on the web.

Samantha is a graduate of Brandywine Heights High School and entering her freshman year at Northampton Community College this fall where she will be entering their radiology program. Outside of school, Samantha enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family. She is employed by Cegee’s Drive-In, located in Blandon.

Actively involved in her community, Samantha is a motivated young woman with a passion for helping others. Samantha supports a wide variety of local community service initiatives. She has donated school supplies to those in need in Berks County, and worked with Cure Search for Cancer, Spirit of Lehigh Valley and other various organizations in the area.

As a charity-driven organization, Samantha will continue her work with USA National Miss’ national anti-bullying platform, The Crown C.A.R.E.S. (Creating A Respectful Environment in Schools) during her reign. She will visit classrooms to talk about bullying awareness and prevention.

Samantha will crown her successor at the 2019 USA National Miss Pennsylvania State Pageant next August at the Holiday Inn in Grantville, PA.

Since 2015, USA National Miss has awarded over half a million dollars in cash scholarships, college scholarship, gifts and prizes to deserving young women. USA National Miss was named the #1 best national pageant in American in 2016 and 2017 by American Model and Pageant Magazine.
