Bern Reformed UCC's Peach Festival in Leesport featured great picnic fare, fresh peaches, homemade desserts and Sylvia's soups.

The annual Peach Festival was held in the Bern UCC church grove Saturday, Aug. 19. Madeline Smith, up and coming New Jersey country pop artist, along with her band members, entertained the enthusiastic crowd. The festival is a community event, featuring delicious picnic fare, homemade desserts, including, of course, peach treats! Free children’s activities, fun and fellowship are also part of the activities. The crowd was estimated to be about 600 guests.
