Registration is now open for the 2017 annual Elverson Parade, to be held on Wednesday, Oct. 18 with a rain date of Oct. 19. The parade will begin promptly at 7 p.m. with entries lining up on South Pine Street by 6:30 p.m. when Main Street (Rte. 23) from Rte. 401 to Brick Lane will be closed to through traffic.
The theme of the parade this year is “Under the Big Top.” Parade entries will be judged and compete for prizes in the following categories – Commercial Float, Non-Commercial Float, Scout Group, Marching Unit, Best on Wheels and Best of Show. Registration will be handled through the Borough’s website (www.Elversonboro.org). Our registration deadline is Oct. 11.
