UGI employees held a company-wide Jeans Day to benefit victims of Hurricane Harvey that raised more than $3,200.

Employees who donated five dollars or more were allowed to wear jeans to work on a designated day last week. Donations totaling $3,214 benefitted the American Red Cross, who is working around the clock to provide safe shelter and comfort to hundreds of thousands of people impacted by the devastating storm.

UGI and the American Red Cross have a longstanding partnership to support emergency preparedness and disaster relief. All American Red Cross disaster assistance is provided free of charge to communities in need and is made possible by voluntary donations of time and money.

UGI Utilities Inc. has headquarters in Reading.
