Fleetwood Girl Scout Junior Troop 1793 earned their Girl Scout Junior Flowers Badge at Royer’s in Reading. The troop received a tour of the facility and learned the day to day business of a florist.
The girls were able to see the loading dock, the holding coolers and where brides come to meet with the florist for weddings. The Girl Scouts were invited to work behind the scenes at the florists work tables to create their own floral arrangements. It was a fun way to learn about flowers.
Anyone can register their child/children for the Royers Kids Club. Once a month, at that store, they do projects with kids. The next one is in September for Grandparent’s Day. Visit their website for more information, wwww.Royers.com.
