It came down to the last shot in the Finals. And with one razor sharp throw, the Bearded Foursome won first place by a hair on the Honey Brook Borough bocce courts for the fall classic. There was no point shaving in this game, just great play on September 23.
The Grey Beards trimmed the Family Ties team in the Finals, and had to win twice for first place against their undefeated foe. HiBocce came in third and is always a team to be reckoned with. They defeated Wonder Women to stay in the tournament, which is quite a feat.
Although the beards were grey (mostly), the sky was bright and beautiful to go along with excellent games, food and fellowship that made for a special day. For more information about future bocce events, please contact the Honey Brook Borough office.
