On Oct. 15, at 4 p.m. at the picnic pavilion of the Huff’s Union Church Memorial Park, 540 Conrad Road, Alburtis, across Huff’s Church Road from the church building, there will be a pet blessing service. Public is invited. Bring a restrained pet or two, or a photo of a pet. The service, led by Huff’s Union Church’s pastor, Rev. Jane Kropa, is about half-hour in length, including scripture readings and prayers about animals, individual blessings, and a song sung by Keith Brintzenhoff, “All God’s Critters Got a Place in the Choir.” There is a donation “piggy” on the stage, where donations to fund Huff’s Church mission and ministry may be placed.
