Police charged one man Monday after it was reported he waved a gun around after pulling up next to another driver. The gun was found to be a BB gun and police charged Thomas Kaiser following the incident.

EXETER >> Police have charged a Pottstown man following a road rage incident involving a BB gun.

According to Exeter Police, Thomas Kaiser of Pottstown has been charged after a driver reported seeing him flash what appeared to be a handgun on Monday. Police said that on Oct. 2, Kaiser pulled up next to the victim while driving west on Perkiomen Avenue (Route 422) near Pineland Road. He then allegedly displayed a silver and black handgun, waved it around and then pointed it at the victim.

Shortly after, Kaiser was stopped by Exeter Police and was taken into custody after officers conducted a traffic stop.

Officers located the weapon and determined that it was a silver and black BB gun.

No injuries were reported during the incident.

Kaiser was charged with terroristic threats and recklessly endangering another person.
