Sara Ann Klymkowsky and Justin Paul Clapper were married Sept. 3 in Boulder, Colorado. Dr. Nanda Ramchandar, a close friend of the couple, married them at the bride’s parents’ home.
Sara Ann Klymkowsky is a senior associate on the research and investment team at Royalty Pharma, a private equity fund in New York, where she helps the company analyze investment opportunities in drug therapies. She graduated from University of Colorado, Boulder, with degrees in Molecular Biology and Business. She is the daughter of Dr. Hillary Browne and Professor Michael Klymkowsky of Boulder.
Lt. Justin Paul Clapper is a Naval Special Warfare Officer based in San Diego, California. He graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a degree in Economics and will attend Columbia Business School next fall. He is the son of Drs. Mark (Hamburg HS ’69) and Laura Clapper of Coronado, California.
The couple took a brief post-wedding hiking trip in Rocky Mountain National Park immediately following the wedding, and this winter will spend their honeymoon adventure trekking across national parks in Uganda and Rwanda to see gorillas.
Justin Clapper is the grandson of Elizabeth N. Clapper and the late Paul R. Clapper of Hamburg.
