After many years of having no auxiliary, Wagner-Good VFW Post 216 recently swore in new auxiliary officers. The officers took the oath of office under the direction of Sandy Brenner from the National Council. After the officers took their oath, newly enlisted members were also sworn in. The New Auxiliary already has 25 members.
Officers are J. Chris Naftzinger, trustee; Karen Freese, treasurer; Heather Berger, secretary; Tim Mohn, Jr. Vice Chair; Jeff Marsh, President; Dennis Moylan, Sr. Vice Chair; Bob Geisinger, trustee; Lee Cunningham, trustee; and Bruce Snyder, Controller.
The VFW auxiliary is now open to both male and female members, all that is needed is a Father, Grandfather or spouse that served in a combat zone. For more information on eligibility please contact the Post at 610-562-2311 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and ask for Chris Naftzinger.
The auxiliary supports Veterans programs, community events and the Post. You do not have to be a member of the post to belong to the auxiliary. The post is located at 1 South 4th Street, Hamburg.
