Daniel Gotshall of Kutztown was recently honored during the 2017 Michaelmas Convocation for Saint Peter’s University. Daniel is a sophomore at the University and he received a gold medal from the College of Arts and Sciences. He also received The Hilsdorf Award. In memory of Rev. George J. Hilsdorf, S.J., professor emeritus of chemistry, this award is presented to a student in general chemistry who displays outstanding performance in that course and potential in the field of science in general, and chemistry in particular. The award is funded by Dr. Charles McCauley, colleague and friend of Fr. Hilsdorf.
