    First responders have not identified the cause of an accident that left a truck turned on it's side Tuesday afternoon. Authorities say the driver was able to escape from the vehicle and refused treatment.

WASHINGTON TWP. >> An overturned truck kept area fire departments busy Tuesday after a reported accident.

On Tuesday, Nov. 14, shortly after noon, Eastern Berks Fire, Bally Ambulance, along with Fire Police from Eastern Berks and Boyertown were dispatched for the report of an accident involving on overturned box truck on Hoffmansville Road at Audrey Drive in Washington Township.

Crews arrived to find a commercial truck on its side. Authorities said the driver was able to remove himself from the vehicle and refused treatment.

First responders have not identified what caused the accident.

Crews assisted with fluid and debris cleanup, and hazard control. Berks-Mont Towing was called to remove the vehicle.
