Dec. 3Kutztown Senior Citizen’s Dinner: Hosted by the Optimist Club of Kutztown, in cooperation with the Kutztown Grange, at Kutztown Grange Hall at 5 p.m., with doors opening at 4 p.m. There will be entertainment and awards after dinner. All Senior Citizens, age 75 and older residing within the Borough of Kutztown, are invited to attend free of charge. Those who attended last year’s dinner should receive a call from the Optimist Club by Nov. 20. Kutztown residents who have reached 75 and never attended and wish to attend should contact Andy Schlegel at 610-683-3743 before Nov. 21. Senior Citizens may bring a guest who is not age 75 or does not live in the Borough, however guest will be asked to pay $12 for meal. Optimist Club will provide transportation to and from the dinner upon request.

Christmas with Santa 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., a book given until they last to every child pictures to purchase. Snacks and small water bottle given to every child till they last. Live Nativity with live sheep and goats. Home made Christmas cookies, pops and candies for sale. Crafts for children. Vendors selling Christmas items. Dec. 10 Kutztown Community Choir presents annual Christmas Concert: 3 p.m., Trinity Lutheran Church, 357 W. Main St., Kutztown. Collection of holiday music that runs the gamut of festive, fun, and inspirational seasonal favorites. A reception with light refreshments and an art exhibit by local artists of Art in the Afternoon will follow the performance. Admission is free and open to the public.
