The Borough of Boyertown saw its annual holiday celebration on Saturday, Dec. 2. Building A Better Boyertown held its annual Chillin’ on Main event featuring the arrival of Santa via the Colebrookdale Railroad.

In addition to Santa and Mrs. Claus, the Grinch, Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer, and other holiday characters joined in on the holiday celebration featuring a Santa’s workshop, games, crafts, and activities. Boy Scout Troop 533 of New Bernville assembled and sold wreaths.

According to Main Street Managers Adrianne Blank, this year’s event was another success. There were more than 30 high school volunteers, 20 craft vendors, and 200 photos with Santa were given out. In addition, more than 20 letters to Santa were delivered during the event.

A portion of East Philadelphia Ave. was closed for the duration of Chillin’ on Main.
